blender008_doughnut texture painting 8/16

gggg' evening!

 

it's Christmas week, I want to finish the doughnut course before Xmas,
hopefully, I can handle this 

this was the progress, we've done.

 the part we want to illustrate

the white part, 

"texture painter" we are going to use,

but generally, it's better to add image texture before this in the shading mode.

so,

1.[ add image texture first]
first, go to the shading mode,
and shift a;add > texture > image texture

 

2.[replace color ramp and add image textrue to the Base Color]


we no longer need a color ramp, as we are using Image Texture.
but we still need the other noise texture or the bump.

 

 

image texture > open: is just open the image and wrap the object.
image texture > New: is you can scratch or do some effect on it. 

e.g. image texture > new 

e.g. image texture > open

the most important part is width, and height. > resolution of the image texture.
도넛 표면으로 쓰기엔 디폴트값이 좀 높은 편이다.
이미지가 클수록 랜더링이 오래 걸린다는 뜻.
1024/4 enter > 512px 
2진법으로 하는게 여러모로 컴퓨터 프로세싱에 도움된다고 설명.

색, 이름, 크기 설정

uncheck alpha !

as we don't need.

this New Image setting is just a solid image texture,
which has no difference to Color Ramp so far. 

 

밑에 노이즈 텍스처랑 범프 달려서 텍스처가 있지만,
그냥 기본 솔리드 컬러노드다 아직까진. 

3.[go to Texture Paint mode]

 

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ left side is a uv map, right side is a modeling in a texture paint mode.

so you can either paint on the map directly or to the modeling, also you can select the face of the modeling to see, which part is where. 

i did on the modeling.  / i did on the uvmap

you can also go to the edit mode to see the location 

 

generally, the best is to paint on the model.

fill key

 

f: change the brush size

shift f : brush strength

 

image* means it's not saved yet.

if you want to do something dangerous, you should quit first and try out.
and you will see the save 1 modifier image(s), which means it.

go to image> save / save as

and save it.

예시로 보여준 이미지인데, 이름이 바뀜. 우측이 3.4버전. Mix Color

컬러 램프 없애고, 베이스 컬러 만든거랑 BSDF 사이에 컬러 믹스 배치.

추가로 connects noise texture and the mix. > b

this means noise texture will put it's output(fac) to the mix color b. 

fac is like which one do you want to show.

factor 1.0 means it brings noise texture more to the top.
so the factor is like the portion of the a, and the b.

so it is like the opacity panel

photoshop 에서 blending mode 랑 비슷하다. 
Multiplying is liremovingove all the white and leaving the dark area. 
add is the opposite to multiply. iremovesve the dark area and leave the white.
so, we want an overlay. 

 

add-multiply-overlay

brighter and darker part exist in the overlay mode.

color ramp > roughness 그리고 쪼여주면 도우에 그로시니스 얹을 수 있다
